With an MA in English Language and Literature from Oxford University, he is both co-founder of Polio Points, a unique student reward programme which incentivises student achievement through humanitarian aid, and a fierce advocate for Student Voice, on which he has published several articles and delivered training across Europe.
Through his expertise in the use of aptitudinal and attidudinal student-level data, and his passion for a #wellbeingfirst approach to teaching and school leadership, Matthew has written and presented widely across the world on #themonalisaeffect®, helping to ensure the available diagnostic and assessment tools are fully exploited to meet the holistic needs of the international school student.
Matthew also works closely with the international team at GL Education, helping them refine and develop their products for the international school market, and will shortly commence an MSc on Mental health and Wellbeing in Education with Bucks New University.
Matthew offers training and consultancy, both online and face-to-face, to schools and school groups from across the globe, and is increasingly in demand as the trainer of choice for premier international schools and school groups across every continent.
